Jerica Williams

Jerica Williams, Owner and Founder of JACE, is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after Publicists in the Sports & Entertainment industry. Known for her basketball background, Jerica broke onto the entertainment scene after her collegiate career was complete. She has built a stellar reputation for helping clients build their brand and execute their vision as her clients.

As a standout basketball player at Mount Miguel High School in San Diego, she would take her talents to UCLA on a basketball scholarship before transferring to San Diego State where she would finish her basketball career and graduate with a degree in Women’s Studies & Sociology.

Jerica has always had a knack for Public Relations.  Her introduction to Public Relations came from being an athlete. She would contribute to countless community events, team events, media interviews, marketing tasks, and more. Summer of 2008 she took a position interning for California Preps as a staff writer. With a strong passion for writing she quickly  dove into the journalism scene.  She would become the Editor in Chief of the BTI quarterly newsletter, and later hired as a freelance writer by ESPN.  Today, she still satisfies her passion for writing by contributing to a number of Basketball Blogs. As well as satisfying her lifelong passion and love for basketball, Jerica finds time to coach Girls' Basketball in Los Angeles.

Being introduced to the entertainment world after college, Jerica gained direct experience working with Hip Hop Artists, DJ’s, radio personnel, clothing lines, talk shows and more. By attending events where she would help, intern, and volunteer for production and contribute behind the scenes, she was exposed to the world of Public Relations.  Over the years and countless events later, Jerica has over 8 years of Public Relations, Event Planning, and Press & Media experience under her belt.

In 2011, Jerica gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Taking motherhood head on, Jerica decided to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Although becoming a Publicist was never something she directly dreamt of becoming, it wasn’t until a potential client coined her as “Publicist” that she realized she had found her niche.  “I was doing everything a publicist does, but didn’t have a title for it. After someone gave me a title, I owned it.”

With a solid foundation, support, countless references, and endless drive, Jerica decided to turn her reputation into a brand.  JACE was built not only to embody the world of Sports & Entertainment through Public Relations, but to bridge gaps for a common good.  Jerica Williams represents caring for people, their dreams, and ultimate success – that is JACE.
